Gas detection systems are installed to ensure life and property security in areas where there is the risk of poisoning, burning or explosion such as car parks or filling stations in addition to industrial facilities. Today, they have become obligatory with life security regulations in many countries.
They can operate with detectors attached to gas detection panels, but they can also operate through inclusion in fire detection and alarm systems through certain modules.
The system components are generally composed of:
-
- Control Panel
- Detectors (sensitive to toxic, explosive and flammable gases)
- Modules (for the purpose of integration with other systems)
equipments.
